The Christmas fair in the Municipal Cave:
This is the oldest and largest subterranean Christmas fair in Europe and attracts countless visitors each year. A great deal of effort has been invested into this year’s decorations, professional stands and the many products on sale to ensure a memorable experience in the vast and ancient tunnels of the Municipal Cave. Drinks and seasonal music can be enjoyed in the Roman part of the cave.
The Christmas fair in the Velvet Cave:
This year Santa Claus will call the Velvet Cave home and you are more than welcome to pay him a visit! As always, this year’s theme will be tastefully expressed in fairytale-like decorations, animations and a romantically lit tunnel network. Halfway through the route you can stop by our warm and welcoming café to enjoy a drink and a bite to eat. Together with the sales stands with their (luxury) Christmas and gift products, this promises to be a unique and interesting experience! With 122,000 visitors each year, this is the largest indoor Christmas event in the Netherlands.
