Winter camping on campsite De Cauberg
Situated near Valkenburg Christmas Town at the very top of the hill is campsite De Cauberg. In winter when the days are short and the nights are long, De Cauberg is an excellent place to stay. The (semi-paved) campsites are ideal for  campers or caravans and the new sanitary facilities are heated. After a lovely breakfast of freshly baked bread from the local bakery (eaten in the restaurant or in your own camper/caravan), you can head to the centre of Valkenburg in no time, either on foot or by shuttle bus. Once in Valkenburg you can visit the caves, the Christmas parade, the beautifully lit streets and the city sights at your leisure. When you return to the campsite, tired and satisfied, you can unwind with a drink or a fantastic meal in the restaurant, while enjoying the beautiful view of the peaceful Geul valley.
